The District helped me put my life back together. There is something seriously special about this community — the house managers genuinely care whether you show up.
The District gave me the tools I needed to begin a healthy life. Accountability, sober role models, and a safe house to process my trauma — not a hospital bed.
This sober living community gave me peace and helped so much with my sobriety. The house made me comfortable enough to start working on myself.
This is by far the best sober living community our family has encountered. I feel part of my nephew’s success is due to the structure he received here.
Need a District bed in Orange County (North)?
Orange County (North) is the biggest of our four areas: seven houses across compact residential neighborhoods, with men's and women's homes kept separate. Groceries, meetings, and jobs sit a few minutes away, and the freeways put the rest of the county within reach. The outings run north and west: Buena Park's Knott's Berry Farm, the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, Fullerton's arboretum and old downtown, the trails of Brea and Carbon Canyon, and the Seal Beach pier — plus the Aquarium of the Pacific just over the county line in Long Beach. We describe these places honestly: they are a short drive from the house, not a walk. Men's and women's houses are separate; pets may be welcome under house rules. Street addresses stay private until admissions completes screening.
Places residents and families plan outings around — each is a drive from the house, not a walk. Tap any place for photos, the address, and drive time. We never publish house addresses.

Few employers list a neighborhood on a paycheck — residents work where north and west Orange County already hires: restaurants and retail plazas, hospitality, warehouses along the 405, and service jobs in nearby business districts. The District expects work or a disciplined job search; house staff help with rides early in sobriety and with building a schedule that respects meetings and outpatient commitments.
Sober living in Orange County — Homes in Orange County (North) are structured sober living only. Residents who need PHP or IOP drive to licensed outpatient centers across Orange County — often Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, or Santa Ana — while sleeping in a District house with testing and curfew. The location keeps both coastal and freeway-clinic options on the table. Admissions clarifies commute expectations after screening; we do not deliver clinical treatment in the home.

Tell admissions who you are calling for, whether they need detox first, and which part of Orange County matters for work or family. Ask what an honest screen covers before anyone sees a street address — our choosing guide lists questions families use.
Same day if you need a bed this week. Tell us the part of Orange County you searched from — Irvine, Anaheim, Costa Mesa — so we start with the closest house.
Who it is for, work or school, court, and which District area is the best fit.
We send current photos of the actual bed — and a house walkthrough when we have one ready. Street addresses stay private until screening.
Rules, testing, chores, and a first-week plan (meetings + job or school) before anyone unpacks.

Yes. Men's and women's houses are separate properties with their own house managers and rules. Admissions matches you to the home that fits your gender and current bed availability.

We protect current residents. Area and place context is public; exact addresses go to families and applicants only after screening.
We operate sober living only in four Orange County areas: Orange County (North), Orange County (West), Orange County (Central), and Orange County (East). There is no District house outside those four areas.
Young adults who want structured recovery housing, can follow house rules, and are stable enough for work or school — not someone who needs medical detox or 24-hour clinical care on site.
